PARENT SHOWCASES

It’s almost time for Parent Showcase Weeks! Each class has a specific observation week before Winter Break, and parents are welcome to watch the last 15 minutes of class during their assigned time.

CONTEMPORARY WORKSHOPS

We are excited to welcome Olivia Tonas back to PDC on Monday, December 29th for a special evening of Contemporary Workshops. Olivia is a former PDC competition dancer and instructor, and she is currently pursuing her Dance major at Brigham Young University. She performs with the BYU Contemporary Dance Theatre Company, has appeared with the Contemporary Dance Ensemble, and is a recipient of the BYU Contemporary Dance Talent Award.

Olivia will be teaching two workshop sessions on December 29th:

  • Ages 7–11: 5:00–6:00 PM

  • Ages 12+: 6:00–7:00 PM

These workshops are designed for Intermediate/Advanced-level dancers. The cost is $15 per dancer, and registration is now open through the Parent Portal.

SACRAMENTO KINGS HALFTIME - MARCH 11, 2026

We’re excited to share that our competition dancers will be taking the court at the Sacramento Kings game on March 11th as they face the Charlotte Hornets! This special halftime performance is an incredible opportunity for our dancers to showcase their talent in front of a packed NBA crowd. More details, including ticket links, practice dates, and deadlines, will be shared soon. For now, be sure to mark your calendars and get ready to cheer on PDC at the Golden 1 Center!

JUNE RECITAL

Our annual June Recitals will take place at Roseville High School on June 12–13 and will be a fun and memorable celebration of everything our dancers have worked on this season. Classes will begin learning their recital dances the week of February 2nd. Costume fees will be due by February 1st, and there will be a $35 recital fee per family due March 1st, which includes digital videos of all recital shows and a 17th Annual Recital T-Shirt for your dancer. We can’t wait to see our dancers shine on stage!
